Lady Trotters take down Central KY Sparxz in close battle

The 10th Grade Girls Lady Trotters conquered the Central Kentucky Sparx 47-40 this morning at the Tennessee Miracle Tournament in Gatlinburg. Elite Hoop Report interviewed Braelyn Wykle and Skylar Bosahears, 10th graders from the Lady Trotters team.
Wykle and Bosahears gave a lot of the credit to their coaches, that lead them to success.
Wykles explained other keys to success, “Our defense really sparked and ran into our offense. We built off of it.”
Struggling in the first half, the Lady Trotters came out and really focused on their defense and their press. This allowed the Lady Trotters to gain a small lead on the Sparx.
“We were really successful in our 2-2-1 press. That really contributed to our success,” Wykles continued.
When asked about key players, Bosahears explained, “everyone really played their part, our guards got some steals and the whole team moved the ball around on offense.”
The 10th Grade Girls Lady Trotters seem to have a strong team effort on both ends of the floor and a true family attitude.
The Lady Trotters plan to play in a few more tournaments this year, including Run for the Roses in Louisville, Kentucky and Women’s Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia.
