Meet the Team
Rob McLamb- Sports Writer
Rob McLamb is a life-long native of Durham, North Carolina. A graduate of N.C. State University, he has covered the school's athletic department for seven years -- first for Scout.com and now for Inside Pack Sports, where he is the beat writer and podcast/video host.
McLamb is also the N.C. State beat writer for the Wilson (NC) Times.
When not covering N.C. State or Carolina Elite, McLamb works as an assistant coach for the Jordan High School football program in Durham and was the head coach of the Falcons' JV team in 2017 when in his first year at the helm he guided the "Young Birds" to its most wins during a campaign in 12 seasons.
His writing work has appeared in numerous newspapers and websites, including Yahoo, Baltimore Sun, Charleston (WV) Gazette, News and Observer (Raleigh, NC), Durham (NC) Herald-Sun and several others.
If he is not feverishly working, McLamb usually enjoys exercise and watching the NBA, along with spending time with his family and dogs.
Hannah Ericksen- Social Media Coordinator
Hannah Ericksen is originally from the crystal coast of North Carolina. She came to the Raleigh area as a high school graduate to attend William Peace University as a student-athlete. Now that her playing career is over, she has decided to branch out into things like coaching and working for Elite Hoop Report to continue to be around the game.
When not covering games for Elite Hoop Report, Ericksen is a coach for a local middle school girl's AAU team. She has been able to use her talents and appreciation for social media to make our website and social media profiles one of the best in its class. Her unique ability to combine professional, quality work along with keeping things fresh in the eyes of younger viewers sets her apart from anyone else we know.
Hannah's ability to make highlight videos, come up with interesting tweets, post engaging photos on Instagram, and create a website that appeals to college coaches and also the players. She also knows exactly what college coaches are looking for due to just being at that level a few years ago. Her knowledge of that creates opportunities for the players we spotlight to have an even better chance of being looked at favorably by college coaches.
Outside of all these work related things, Hannah enjoys meal prepping, physical fitness, and spending time with friends and family.
